Ariana Dickson
INSTRUCTOR
Ariana has been a part of the Young at Arts Dance Academy family since the age of three, starting her dance journey right here at the studio. With a deep passion for dance, she has trained extensively in various styles over the years, growing from a young student into a dedicated and skilled dancer.
Her journey as a dancer inspired her to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University, where she is currently studying to deepen her understanding of how the body moves and functions. She applies this knowledge to her teaching, focusing on safe and effective techniques that help her students improve their strength, flexibility, and overall performance.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Ariana is a certified instructor in Acrobatic Arts, bringing a unique blend of grace and strength to her teaching. Her classes are known for being both challenging and supportive, encouraging dancers to push their boundaries while having fun.
Looking ahead, Ariana aims to combine her dance background with her academic education by attending chiropractic school, with a focus on dancer rehabilitation. She is passionate about helping dancers recover from injuries and reach their full potential through specialized care.
When she’s not teaching, Ariana continues to expand her own dance education and enjoys bringing new techniques and creativity into her classes. She is thrilled to be giving back to the studio where her dance journey began and looks forward to inspiring the next generation of dancers at Young at Arts Dance Academy.
